Do I have to be a mom to wear these earrings?

Absolutely not! Our earrings are meant for individuals who want to show themselves love, practice self-care, and feel as lovely as they deserve to. Hadley Hill was designed by a mother wanting to help out other mothers, but we are not exclusive here. If it speaks to you, wear it! 

Are the clip-on earrings comfortable?

We have found these incredible "hoop clip-on" style earrings that are more stable and more comfortable than the "snap clasp" clip ons that I remember from my youth. My six year old is my biggest advocate for these, as she does not like the snap clasp earrings that squish the earlobe (she'd wear them for max 1 hour), but she'll wear these hoop clips for hours. There is a smaller area that actually touches the ears, and once on, you have to be intentional about removal so they're less likely to fall off. She will remove them before putting on a winter hat, because sensory sensitivity of a highly-sensitive 6 year old, but other than that she'll wear them just about all day long!

That said, they might not work as well for small children. It's easiest to put them on if you stretch the earlobe a little while holding the spring-loaded clasp back, and I find that smaller children generally don't tolerate this as well - you know your child best. Special orders can be made for the traditional "clasp-shut" clip-ons, and if there is enough demand over time, we'll incorporate those into our selections as well.

How long does shipping take?

Most of the orders we ship will ship via USPS, and take about three days once the order leaves the workshop. While we try to get every order out the door within 1-2 business days once it's placed, there will occasionally be instances where that is delayed (Holidays, travel, ect...), but we'll do our best to communicate that in a way that you'll be aware before the order is placed. Additionally, we are not responsible for shipping delays once the earrings have made their way to the carrier. Things like weather, natural disaster, understaffing of the post office ... all these can and do occur, and unfortunately we cannot predict or take responsibility for delays in your package arriving.

What is your return policy?

We generally do not accept returns.

For damages that have occurred during shipping, please submit a claim via email with photographic evidence within 5 days of the product arrival.

For hardware and manufacturing defects, please reach out within 2 weeks of your earrings' arrival with photographic evidence. We take pride in the quality of our products, and strive to produce the highest quality and durability, however we are humans and mistakes do happen on our end, and with the hardware. These instances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and it is possible to receive store credit to replace your earrings if it's deemed to be out of your control. 

Any damages due to improper handling, misuse, extreme pressure or tension on the clay itself will not be considered for return. Take good care of your earrings and they'll last years to come!
